SYMPOSIUM ON FOREST, BIODIVERSITY AND CLIMATE CHANGE AT BASCO

Introduction:
RUPFA to organise SYMPOSIUM ON FOREST, BIODIVERSITY AND CLIMATE CHANGE AT BAWJIASE COMMUNITY SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL(BASCO) in Central Region where the students will be taken through a talk on how to protect the forest and its biodiversity and its importance to climate change mitigation. The RUPFA delegates are expected to arrived at the school at 09:30am where they will interact with the school authorities. The programme will start at 10:30am with the opening prayer usually by the school chaplain. The Moderator will be RUPFA’s deputy director in the person of Mrs. Lily Osei to give a brief introductory speech on the organization RUPFA and introduced the delegates present.
Objectives:
  To sensitize students and staffs on the
•    Benefits of the forest and the need to protect our forest
•    Adverse effects and impact on the destruction of forests and biodiversity and climate change
•    The role of  the forestry commission
