We carry out projects in four major focus areas: Environmental Protection, Community Development, Economic Empowerment for Men and Women. Our approach to making change is through mission and outreach, advocacy, community mobilisation and participatory research.
RUPFA operates in three (3) African countries: Benin, Burkina Faso and Ghana. Our headquarters is located in Accra, Ghana. In Ghana, we work in the Central, Volta, Eastern, Western, Upper East, Upper West and Northern Regions. In Benin and Burkina Faso, we work within Coutonou and Ouagadougou respectively.
To alleviate poverty, reverse rural-urban drift and to promote self-reliance in rural communities in West Africa. We achieve this by maximising participatory approach to development, strengthening network formation, active involvement of women and youth, encouraging gender balance and promoting good leadership among the youth.
Ensuring partnership between rural communities and urban cities in a way that reverses rural-urban drift by organizing income generation activities, support community infrastructural development and community mobilization concept.
